With the growing application of oil mist lubrication in petrochemical enterprises, its advantages become increasingly prominent. Meanwhile, its adverse impacts, especially environmental pollution, cannot be ignored. Lubricating oil is atomized by compressed air for lubrication, and around 20% of the oil is directly discharged into the atmosphere through vents, resulting in environmental contamination. Accordingly, residual mist treatment and recovery are vital to the development of oil mist lubrication technology.
 
To address such pollution issues, our company has developed residual oil mist recovery equipment. It realizes eco-friendly closed-loop control of the lubrication system, improves environmental conditions and achieves green and low-carbon production.
 
The residual mist recovery main unit is designed based on centrifugal impact and self-circulation principles. Driven by the motor, the hub rotates at high speed to draw oil mist particles inside. Particles collide continuously with blades and coalesce into oil droplets. Under centrifugal force, droplets penetrate the fiber filter mesh and strike the shell inner wall, then flow back into the oil tank. Air flows upward and passes through the top silencing filter pad; part is exhausted outdoors, and the rest returns to the hub for secondary centrifugal separation. The discharged oil mist concentration is no more than 5 mg/m³, complying with OSHA Occupational Safety and Health Standards.
